Chess is fun. But its board size makes it impractical to carry around. Unless when someone made it into a more compact design. That’s pretty much what a design Company — Umbra just did. The Umbra Rolz is a chess/checkers set that looks premium, and most importantly, practical to carry anywhere.

When rolled out, the board measures 12 x 12 x 1 inch (30 x 30 x 2.5 cm), with the pieces made out of resin with silk-screened chess characters on top — making it a versatile set for both chess and checkers.
