Solar panels are probably the most popular option to get electricity when you are out in the wood. But the sun does not always shine and the night renders it to be useless. One source of more reliable energy is the flow of water on a river.
WaterLily is a hydro turbine designed to capture the energy of moving water and convert it to electricity. The turbine is quite small but can generate 15W of power, comparable to a regular wall charger.
It is equipped with a USB port to directly charge a phone, tablet, or power bank. As you might expect, water is not a really good friend with electronic devices, so the WaterLily maker includes a 10-foot (3,04 m) long cable to keep your devices away from water splash while still receiving free energy from the river.
